First minigames

Main minigames

Video games made with Game Maker.

For a while I made games that were quick to create and easy to play. I mainly made games with 2 or more players so that I could play them with my friends at school.

I also did 1 player games, but I put scores to see who got the highest score.

Below I show 3 of the most popular games among my friends and my cousins.

Tráfico total

A car game where the objective was to reach the end of the road (which had fewer and fewer lanes) avoiding colliding with other cars.

The speed of the car was increasing as time progressed, and you couldn't go slower.

It had 6 levels of difficulty, meaning that the higher the difficulty, the higher the starting speed.

Only 2 keys were used to move: Left and Right.

At the end of each road there was a "funny" destination that you arrived at. For example, in one level there was a taco stand, so in that case, it could be said that your final goal was to get to eat some tacos 😄.

Mini Soccer

A soccer game for 2 or 4 players.

4 different teams could be chosen.

The ball moved on its own and was bouncing off the walls, gradually gaining more speed. The players could move freely, and they functioned as an obstacle for the ball (like the game PONG).

When 10 goals were scored, the teams changed positions.

I wanted to make the atmosphere fun, so I put a grandstand in it with people jumping around supporting both teams. When scoring a goal, an explosion of fireworks the color of the team that had scored would appear in the center.

Mini Soccer

Every time a game started, a background audio was played. It was a narration from Enrique Bermúdez, a well-known sports commentator in Mexico. The audio was from a comedy sketch from the program "Al Derecho y al Derbez", in which a game was narrated with the classic phrases that Enrique Bermúdez said.

Video Gameplay

Zombies VS Humanos

A little game that I didn't finish, but we still played it from time to time.

It simulated a 2 player board game where each player had a number of people. One player controlled the zombies and the other the humans.

It was a turn-based game and depending on what you got on the dice, it was the number of squares you could move. In the case of humans, one dice was for moving, and the other for the distance a bullet would travel when attacking a zombie.

Multiple characters could be moved at the same time in the same turn.

Zombies would convert humans upon touching them, and humans had to shoot a zombie at least 2 times to destroy it.

A fairly simple game, and unfinished.

Other games

Those mentioned above were not the only ones, but the most played.

Below I show other games that I had already created at that time.

Mini Game

Compared to my first games in life, these were already a bit more elaborate.
