Welcome to my website!

My name is Jennifer Gonzalez and I am a Software Developer.

I know several programming languages, but the ones I use the most (and currently master the most) are: PHP, JavaScript and Android with Java.

Currently I have paused my study in Mechatronics Engineering for a while, in which, in addition to a lot of knowledge, in the area of computing I have seen a bit of: Arduino, C++, Matlab and VHDL.

What I liked to program the most was a coin-dispensing machine, which, although it could not be finished due to lack of time and money, I liked to program it without knowing practically anything about Arduino or Bluetooth connections, little knowledge of electronics, and few Android knowledge.

I made a program in Arduino and also an Android Application which were connected via Bluetooth. From the phone you send instructions to the Arduino that activates a machine that counts coins, the amount of coins appears on the screen of the phone.

Since I was little I always wanted to learn how to create robots. Although at the moment computer science calls me more than robotics itself.

At the age of 13 I made my first video games with Game Maker. I knew practically nothing back then, but that's where my passion for programming began.

In high school I chose a technical career in Computer Maintenance, and among other things, I learned C, C++ and HTML.

At the age of 19, I studied Computer Engineering at university and learned a lot. I got better at C++ and HTML, I learned Java, C# and a bit of CSS and Javascript. I had to abandon my studies almost when I finished them due to family problems. 😢

While I was in college I learned a lot about programming (especially object-oriented) by watching videos on Youtube from the channel The Coding Train, with Professor Daniel Shiffman, with whom I learned the Processing language. 100% Recommended Channel. ❤

At 23 and 24 years old, I studied online some Masters in Web development, where I learned: Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, Wordpress, MySql and a little about various utilities and frameworks for web development.

Upon entering my current university, I continued to study online (outside of school), now Android (with Java), and started making my first apps. I currently have 3 apps uploaded to Google Play, and more will come soon.

Currently, apart from university, I am studying a lot about React and various other web development technologies (mainly Frontend).
